Privacy Policy

Last updated July 28, 2026

The short version: Yonder PH is a job marketplace connecting Filipino remote talent with international employers. We collect the information you give us — including your resume and the details in it — to run that marketplace. We do not sell your personal information. You can download or delete your data at any time from your account settings.

This policy explains what we collect, why, who we share it with, and the rights you have under the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 and the California Consumer Privacy Act.

Who We Are

Yonder PH (“Yonder PH”, “we”, “us”) operates an online marketplace at yonderph.com that connects Filipino remote professionals (“talent”) with employers worldwide. For the purposes of the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173), Yonder PH is the personal information controller for the data described in this policy.

This policy applies to the Yonder PH marketplace at yonderph.com and the services we provide through it. It does not cover third-party websites that we link to — such as an employer's own website — which have their own privacy practices.

Questions about this policy or your data can be directed to our Data Protection Officer — see the Contact section below.

Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

  • Account information — when you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo.
  • Resume files and their contents — talent upload resumes, from which we extract personal details including work history, education, certifications, skills, contact details, and location.
  • Profile information — anything you add or edit on your profile, such as your professional title, summary, salary expectations, and availability.
  • Employer content — employers upload job posts, from which we extract job details and company information.
  • Marketplace activity — applications you submit, messages you send, interviews you schedule, notes, saved items, and notifications.
  • Usage and technical data — IP address, browser type, and request identifiers, collected automatically in our server logs to operate and secure the service.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Operate the marketplace — create your profile, publish job posts, and connect talent with employers.
  • Parse resumes and job posts using automated tools so your profile and job listings are structured and searchable.
  • Match talent to jobs and surface relevant results.
  • Display your profile or job post to the other side of the marketplace.
  • Send you in-app notifications about applications, messages, and interviews.
  • Provide customer support and respond to your requests.
  • Understand how Yonder PH is used and improve it — analyzing usage and technical data to monitor performance, diagnose problems, and develop new features.
  • Detect, prevent, and investigate fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
  • Comply with our legal obligations.

AI & Automated Processing

Yonder PH uses artificial intelligence to process the documents you upload. When you upload a resume or job post, its text is extracted and analyzed by automated parsing tools and large language models to produce structured profile and job data. This text is also converted into numerical representations (embeddings) and indexed so the marketplace can perform search and matching.

These tools assist with organizing and matching information. They do not make automated decisions that produce legal effects about you — hiring decisions are made by employers, and you can review and edit the data extracted from your documents.

How We Share Information

Yonder PH does not sell or rent your personal information to anyone. We share information only in the following ways:

  • At your direction — when you take an action that shares information, such as publishing your talent profile so employers can find it, or starting a conversation with someone on the marketplace.
  • With the other side of the marketplace — a talent profile is visible to employers, and a job post is visible to talent. Messages, applications, and interviews are shared with the counterparty involved.
  • With service providers — companies that process data on our behalf to run the service (see Third-Party Service Providers below).
  • For legal and safety reasons — when required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of Yonder PH, our users, or the public.
  • In a business transfer — if Yonder PH is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

Third-Party Service Providers

We rely on the following categories of third-party service providers to operate Yonder PH. Each provider is permitted to use your information only to deliver its service to us:

  • AI and document-processing providers — services that extract the text from the resume and job-post files you upload and analyze it with large language models to produce structured profile and job data.
  • Authentication providers — services that provide secure sign-in (OAuth).
  • Cloud infrastructure providers — services that provide server hosting, our database, and file storage.

Some of these providers operate outside the Philippines, including in the United States.

International Data Transfers

Yonder PH connects Filipino talent with employers around the world. As a result, personal data originating in the Philippines may be viewed by employers located in other countries — primarily the United States — and processed by service providers located outside the Philippines. By using Yonder PH, you understand that your information will be transferred and processed in this way so the marketplace can function.

Cookies & Tracking

A cookie is a small file stored by your browser. Yonder PH sets a small number of cookies, all of them set by us and all of them needed to run the site — to keep you signed in, to remember that you finished setting up your account, and to keep a profile's view count from counting the same reader twice. We do not use advertising cookies, third-party analytics, or anything that follows you to other websites.

Our Cookie Policy at yonderph.com/legal/cookies lists every cookie we set, what each one does and how long it lasts, and explains how to block them.

Data Retention

We keep your personal data for as long as your account is active so we can provide the service. When you delete your account, we remove your personal data and uploaded files; records shared with another party — such as messages and applications — are retained in anonymized form so the other party's history stays intact.

Server logs are retained for approximately 90 days and database backups for approximately 30 days, after which they are overwritten or deleted. We may retain certain information longer where required by law.

Your Privacy Rights

Under the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012, you have the right to be informed about how your data is processed, to access your data, to object to processing, to have inaccurate data corrected, to have your data erased or blocked, to data portability, and to be indemnified for damages. If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act gives you the right to know what personal information we collect, to access and delete it, to correct it, and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. Yonder PH does not sell personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of.

You can exercise the most common rights directly from your account settings:

  • Access and portability — use “Download your data” in Settings to download a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Erasure — use “Delete account” in Settings to permanently delete your account and personal data.

For corrections or any other request, contact our Data Protection Officer using the details in the Contact section.

Data Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your information, including encrypting data in transit and limiting access to personal data. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure. While we work to protect your information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security, and you provide it at your own risk.

Children's Privacy

Yonder PH is intended for users who are at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can remove it.

Data Protection Officer & Contact

If you have questions about this policy, want to exercise a privacy right, or wish to make a complaint, you can contact our Data Protection Officer:

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the National Privacy Commission of the Philippines (privacy.gov.ph) if you believe your data privacy rights have been violated.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “last updated” date at the top of this page. If we make material changes, we will provide a more prominent notice. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
